Head In The Clouds

Have you ever noticed how every single skyscape, sunset or cloud cluster is absolutely unique? As if every day an artist decides to paint you a picture for pure contemplation, and that, since the dawn of time.

There is so much beauty to absorb with an endless number of magical symphonies. Colors, contrasts, depths and rays that waltz through the celestial panorama… always in motion, constantly animated.

How lucky are we to get a lifetime of original canvases free to appreciate from wherever we are? I get lost in their splendor. I get inspired daily. I feel thankful. I look forward to each new painting.

Whether you keep mental images or capture them on camera, don’t forget to look up every day!

We’re online at work, at home and via mobile on the go. I truly believe that once in a while we need to just disconnect and replenish the old fashion way!

Simply put, it’s standing, running or walking barefoot on the ground. Something humans have done for centuries naturally, until the invention of modern shoes. From then on, the umbilical cord was severed and slowly but surely we started suffering the consequences without even realizing it.Read More »

Fostering The Inner Child & The Importance Of Playtime

childhood_joy_02

If you were born prior to the year 2000 chances are you had a playful childhood. After the new millennium, things took a bit of a turn and there’s a whole new generation of youth that has spent their early years staring at a screen or connected to a virtual world. Either way, we all grow up. And one of the casualties of growing up often seems to be the inner child. After all, adulthood is associated with responsibility, caring for others, developing careers, networking, acquisitions, important decisions, serious paperwork, tight schedules, daily stress and so on…

So what happens to the inner child once we reach the adult stage? Does it just fade away? Does it get buried under paperwork? Or is it that we simply no longer have time to foster it?
